GDPR – Privacy Policy

At Fitle, we collect and process data according to our Privacy Policy, incorporating Fitle’s values: transparency, accessibility, common sense, compliance, and practicality. Our privacy policy is part of our terms of service.

We integrate privacy and personal data protection into the design of all our projects (organizational, technical, marketing, commercial, etc.). At Fitle, the collection and processing of personal data are appropriate to the purpose pursued by this processing.

We act as subcontractors for our brand clients and are responsible for processing personal data related to our offer, whether that processing is intended to fulfill the commercial contract or to serve our internal needs for continuous improvement of our solutions.

Data Collection and Use

Plug-in

To provide size recommendations to consumers, our algorithm requires their gender, age, height, and weight, collected via our custom event tracking. The recommendation can be improved with optional data like body shape and reference brands. This information is stored on our servers and in the user’s web browser to offer automatic size recommendations on other products. Additionally, we generate a random tracking ID linked to the web browser, not the user.

Parameters such as language and device are also stored locally to personalize the plug-in. Clicks are tracked to help improve the user experience. The IP address, browser version, operating system, and timestamps are tracked solely to quickly resolve malfunctions.

Aggregated data on products, e-commerce performance, and body shapes/physical characteristics are produced in a secure, private dashboard used by Fitle and its clients to improve customer experience, collections, or supply chain. This data is retained for 36 months.

A cookie is used on our e-commerce partners’ sites, including a copy of the browser’s tracking ID. This cookie is obsolete and will be removed once the solution is updated for all clients.

Fitle Website

To initiate a collaboration and demonstrate our plug-in, our form collects first name, last name, email address, phone number, company name, website URL where Fitle will be integrated, and optionally, the monthly sales volume. This information is retained for 36 months.

How Do We Ensure Data Anonymization?

Plug-in

Fitle does not collect data that can identify a consumer. We generate a random tracking ID for data processing, which is linked to the browser, not the user. The goal is to anonymously detect if the browser has been used for size recommendations and link it to the purchase flow. This helps us process page visits, size recommendations, added-to-cart products, orders, and returns. If multiple browsers are used by the same user, several tracking IDs will be generated and considered as different users. It is therefore impossible to identify anyone with this information. IP addresses, collected via a Sentry tag, are only used for troubleshooting and are securely stored in Sentry.

We do not use the information from our prospects or partners beyond our commercial exchanges with them regarding our products.

Data Sharing

Plug-in

All requested information is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Our product team tracks user behavior via Mix Panel to analyze data and highlight important information. Data for troubleshooting is stored in Sentry, a bug-tracking application.

How Does Our Algorithm Use Data for Size Recommendations?

Based on each user’s physical, body shape, and reference brand information, our size recommendation tool deduces their measurements. These are then compared with the product’s measurements.
